The JRAC board wants to remind you that our annual membership meeting is scheduled for January 21st from 6:30 to 8PM at the Joplin Public Library at 20th and Connecticut . We will be reviewing activities for the last year and accepting ideas for the directions you want JRAC to go in the new year.
Most importantly, we’ll be having an election of new board members. Marta Churchwell and Brenda Hayes have come to the end of their terms. Both have done an outstanding job in advancing JRAC’s mission and we are grateful for the time we’ve had their good counsel. We have three excellent candidates who have expressed an interest in filling the two available spots. All are skilled artists and more than qualified to work for the betterment of our art community: Andrew Batcheller, Al Gritten, and Nancy Erwin. Next week, I will be compiling the results of questionnaires I’ve sent to each candidate for you to review ahead of the meeting so you can make informed decisions.
Please plan to attend this essential meeting, since you will help to determine our future leadership by voting. We’re looking forward to a good annual review and lots of your best ideas for 2020.
